Brown University - Unum

The Unum Group Long-Term Care Insurance Program was the initial program implemented at Brown University in 1992.

It is still viable on a guarantee issue basis (no evidence of insurability is required) for those who enroll during the first 30 days of their employment. It is also viable for eligible employees who are looking primarily for Nursing Home care, as opposed to comprehensive care that provides benefits for care at home, assisted living facilities and in nursing homes.
