What Is Different (Better) About This Plan?
We are taking the forward looking position that no single insurance company offering can be "best" for everyone because different products target different segments of the market; and the Brown University community is extremely diverse. Besides the long standing Unum plan, product options are offered by John Hancock Life Insurance Company (USA) and MetLife.

With this fact in mind, we are offering richer and easier to use home care benefits, with more liberal provisions, than are offered in many other plans. These options can also be considerably less costly than "retail" products available to you.
